Pregnancy Bodywork:
Preparation for Birth
Pregnancy is a time of profound transformation. As the body expands to carry life, it is essential to create space, ease, and softness for both the mother and baby. My hands-on and hands-in bodywork sessions help prepare the body for birth by supporting alignment, tissue suppleness, and overall comfort.
Sessions may include:
Gentle fascia work on the belly, chest, hips, and breasts to create spaciousness, support circulation, and ease tension.
Internal vaginal and vulva touch to soften the tissues and prepare them for birth, reducing the likelihood of tearing and supporting a more easeful experience.
Techniques to support skin elasticity, potentially preventing stretch marks by allowing the skin to expand more comfortably.
Pregnancy is a time to listen to the body’s innate wisdom—I am here to support you in honoring that process.

first 40 days Postpartum
In Home Postpartum Care
Postpartum is not about returning to your pre-birth body—it’s about integrating this massive transformation. In the first forty days, your body is open, vulnerable, and in deep recovery. During this time you quickly lose heat and your body starts to reorganize itself all while you are navigating taking care of a new baby. I believe this is a time to slow down, receive support, and allow your body to realign.
“The postpartum period is the time for the mother to be mothered ”
For the first six weeks postpartum, I offer customizable in-home healing and bodywork designed to deeply nourish the mother in her transition.

Post-6-Week Sessions
After the initial postpartum period, I offer deeper fascia and organ work in my studio to help the body realign and integrate after pregnancy. These sessions may include:
Scar remediation for tears, C-sections, and episiotomy scars
Pelvic alignment and deep tissue work to restore balance
Hands-on, hands-in work to release tension and support healing
Mothers are welcome to bring their babies to these sessions. They are held in my office. I adjust the space so that mother and baby can lie together on the table, allowing their nervous systems to remain in harmony.
If this is your first time seeing me, please book a Womb Care session. During it we can discuss the options of working hands in.
Philosophy of Touch
the Mother Baby Dyad
True postpartum support acknowledges that the mother and baby are not separate—they are a unit. My care is centered around the physiological and emotional needs of both, ensuring that healing is guided by nature’s rhythms.
Why Postpartum Care Matters
Traditional postpartum care, practiced across cultures, centers warmth, nourishment, and circulation to promote healing and prevent depletion. These time-honored practices are designed to:
Support organ realignment & tissue repair
Heal diastasis recti
Encourage healthy blood and lymph circulation
Prevent prolapse & incontinence
Regulate the nervous system
How I Support You
Postpartum care with me is hands-on, heart-centered, and tailored to your needs. Whether through bodywork, warmth therapies, or guided rest, every element is designed to help your body settle, soften, and integrate. In the history of humans our families and communities would provide these roles but through our individualistic culture we have lost a lot of these ways. My role is to care for you and teach the people around you how to care for you so you can focus on nourishing your baby while being deeply nourished yourself.
